MAURITIUS STREET ART WORKSHOPS
Joshila’s community street art engagements and workshops focus on creative arts, opportunities to unleash the limitless possibilities of the imagination and encourage creative and critical thinking for both individuals and teams, develop group communication skills, build trust between participants and celebrate shared experience and achievement.
Community Collaboration Art
Joshila is passionate about inspiring young people to explore their creativity and facilitating sessions that develop creative thinking and new approaches to self expression through art. During the community project, you will be creating a mural. You’ll learn different techniques to work with acrylic paint, spray cans and markers and then work together with the artist to create an original street art piece. This engagement can be tailored to suit groups of up to 12 people.
Joshila has facilitated creative arts projects for young people including:
Bois Rouge collaborative mural with the youth association (Beau Plan Smart City project)
Container collaborative painting with youths from NGO Association Development Le Morne
Bus stops collaborative painting with the community during Nou Le Morne Art Festival 2019
Community collaborative Mural at Residence Mere Theresa with NGO Safire
Community collaborative mural with the youth of Moka for the Moka Art Festival (Moka Smart City Project)
